McKay's True Value

Everybody who works here is always very friendly and helpful. They will even special order items if they aren't available, and you're willing to wait. I'm happy to shop here because the customer service is outstanding and prefer to support a local business and ensure Amazon, Home Depot, or Lowe's aren't my only options in the future.

Great service and prices. They fixed our screen door very quickly. Very impressive. Definitely will be back to do more business with this hardware store.

They have all the things! The big box home stores are too full of nobody with zero knowledge, who should be working at Target. The folks here know what you need.

Needed an O ring for a filter basket for my pool. Went to Leslie's, Home Depot, Lowes and Ace but none of them had it. McKay True Value did! Staff super nice and helpful and price lower than expected.

Very helpful and informative, they take the time to help and explain how to remedy what you need to fix instead of pushing items to buy. I walked in today and they explained to me a faster resolution and it worked. I did not have to buy anything. I will be back again for sure.

Super impressed with the customer service, selection, and prices! I stopped by here at 6:55 and noticed that they were closed for the night (hours til 6:30pm.) The owner's son saw me in the parking lot, invited me in and offered to help me find what I needed. He found exactly what I was looking for and it was less than I was expecting to pay. So happy for this new small business in the neighborhood.

This store is great. Awesome selection of high quality tools and materials at reasonable prices. Everyone at the store is very nice and really wants to help you have a great experience while you're there. They are also knowledgeable about the tools and materials you may need to complete jobs so they can give great advice. I like going to stores where they know your name and always treat you like a valued customer and that is McKay's offers to the community. I'll be doing all of my tool and hardware shopping here!

The customer service here is why I come here. Is it a bit more expensive than a big box chain? Maybe, but the helpfulness of the staff outweighs that for me. It doesn’t matter if I pop in for Traeger pellets, irrigation fixes for my drip system, or miscellaneous screws/bolts. Never had a bad experience here.

GARY the owner and SCOTT, one of the employees, are running the kind of hardware store I love! These days, good service seems hard to come by but today as soon as I walked in the store he was there ready to help me and I had no clue what I needed. I am so grateful for good customer service! Thank you SCOTT for your time and attention to my machine screw dilemma!

This is what every hardware store should aspire to be. Helpful and kind staff. I have plenty of hobbies that require obscure hardware. Have never walked away from McKay's without a part. Better value than ace and infinitely more convenient than waiting on parts to arrive from online retailers.
